about

Track 2 - Ghost Town:

What is it going to take for people to see the damage we are doing to the planet and each other? The human race might need to write off people from my generation, and older, so that the people who grew up in the demented world we created, and have lived with our mistakes their whole lives, can chart a course away from greed and violence. I had to play some slide guitar because I ripped open my finger running it up the neck. It’s funny how adversity sometimes leads to opportunity because I like the ghostly sound of the slide with harmonics.

lyrics

Everyone saw this coming
Nobody wants to hear
Now there's nobody living
In this ghost town
This ghost town
This ghost town

We saw the water rising
Lived through the hurricane
And then the fires came
To this ghost town
This ghost town
This ghost town

We're crawling from the wreckage
Of a century filled with dreams
Now we need the grass to grow again
In this ghost town
In this ghost town

Onto that roaring fire
We threw our promises
Now no one looks you in the eye
In this ghost town
This ghost town
This ghost town
